Colorado made another offer this week, this time for an upcoming high school that is getting more attention on the recruiting front after a sophomore year breakthrough.
On Wednesday, the Buffs became the 10th program and the fifth since the end of March to offer Drey Garner, a class of 2025 athlete from University City High School in San Diego, California.

The four-star prospect (247Sports composite) put up big numbers on both sides of the ball in his sophomore season. As a wide receiver, he caught 36 passes for 812 yards and nine touchdowns in his first full varsity season, according to MaxPreps. That works out to 22.6 yards per reception as he proved to be a major game threat. Defensively, he had three interceptions and four passes defended as a cornerback.
Garner has the potential to develop into one of the better recruits in California for his class by the time his senior season rolls around, and the Buffs jumped on the quality perspective relatively early.
