There may not be a greater Notre Dame track and field fan than head football coach Marcus Freeman. We’ve seen Freeman show up at the Notre Dame ladies’ basketball games with his family seemingly endlessly. We’ve also seen him at a lot of men’s basketball games. He threw first pitches at Irish baseball games and hit charity home runs with the softball team.
You can also add the men’s lacrosse national semifinals to that list. Freeman not only wished the Notre Dame lacrosse team luck against Virginia in Saturday’s semifinal, but let the world know he was on his way to Philadelphia to support the Irish.
