Former Colorado Buffaloes women’s basketball starter Tayanna Jones begins her professional basketball career abroad.
According to CUBuffs.comshe signed with the Ballarat Miners of the NBL1 in Australia’s Central Highlands of Victoria.

Jones signed back in early May and made his debut on May 6. In her first outing with the Miners, Jones put up an impressive 26-point, 15-rebound stat line against the Diamond Valley Eagles. Unfortunately it came in a loss but Jones showed she can deliver in Australia. Ballarat is currently 1-10 with his next game on May 27.
Jones played five years in college with her first two playing for the Georgetown Hoyas. She now wants to continue her hot start with the Miners.
